This is in itself logical because on homing, the printer only 'reads' the physical z-switch being pressed by the carriage. One corner might have a gap, another corner touching the bed, a different one is ok, it’s never been all good though. WebI believe that the z offset is at least partially related to the sensitivity of the strain gauge. Ideally the z offset would be zero with the nozzle touching the surface without any pressure.
