EDIT: Just figured out Crysis for anyone interested. Went to the Crysis folder itself on my hard drive, went to Crysis > Bin64 then clicked on Crysis64.exe (the one I assumed I needed since I have Windows 64 bit) and got the same result as usual.

I have disabled compatibility assistant (and restarted my PC after), tried literally every compatibility option (and mix of them) under the sun, 64bit patch, disabled antivirus, DX 9 mode. Nothing seems to be working. I just get a black screen for a few seconds and then CTD. WebMy retail disc version has both crysis.exe and crysis64.exe in the same folder for 64bit edition, but I also need to run the crysis.exe file to run the game. It is running in 64bit mode still. I do have to run the crysis.exe file in Windows Vista SP2 compatibility mode too though.
