Di2 not charging no lights
WebNo lights illuminated on the charge unit (or anywhere else). Is it simple plug n play or am I missing a step? I have tried directly through an adaptor to the mains socket and also via the laptop. WebCheck the connectors here. If this doesn't fix it you'll need to do some stripping down and connect the battery directly to the charger via the charge port and see if it'll connect to a PC. A bike shop with the proper diagnostic tool is helpful here because they can connect components to it using e-wires.

WebFeb 20, 2024 · Neither will ever charge external batteries - Shimano say that's unsafe because the ext. battery mount does not have a temperature sensor. The SM-BR2 charger does not work properly with E-Tube Project 4.0.3, it'll work perfectly with ETP 3.4.5 though. Shimano will probably fix this some day... I'm not expecting this to happen any time soon..
